This hybrid occurs in nature with the several named varieties of parviflorum. Each was originally named independently and are now known
as follows:
Cyp xandrewsii nothovar andrewsii is the hybrid with Cyp parviflorum var makasin
Cyp xandrewsii nothovar landonii is the hybrid with Cyp parviflorum var parviflorum
Cyp xandrewsii nothovar favillianum is the hybrid with Cyp parviflorum var pubescens

Cypripedium Favillianum on the first day following the opening of the flowers. Note the cream coloration, reflective of its Cyp. parviflorum var. pubescens parentage.
The same specimen of Cypripedium Favillianum four days following the opening of the flowers. In this hybrid, the flowers become very white after a few days, reflective of its Cyp. candidum parentage.
